MEP has carefully mapped the ACSC (R) and ICSC (L) programmes to the Pearson Level 7 Extended Diploma, securing around 90% alignment across Units 1, 2 and 7. This means you’ll only complete small, targeted tasks for us to fully recognise these units through RPL — giving you 60 credits (diploma) with minimal additional work.

From there, you’ll complete three further units in full with us, gaining another 60 credits and taking you to 120 credits in total — the requirement for direct MBA entry.

On completion, we refer you to Cardiff Met University for automatic enrolment onto their next MBA intake. You don’t have to progress immediately, but many choose to — once you’re in the study zone, it makes sense to keep going and finish strong.

The Journey

Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, followed by –

MBA – Advanced Entry (Top-up)

ACSC (R) and ICSC (L) – Recognised Previous Learning Pathway

Level 7 Pearson accredited is 60 credits RPL’d and 60 credits completed with MEP
Maximum duration with MEP: 12 months
A streamlined and mapped journey for ACSC (R) and ICSC (L) learners and graduates

Investment:

Initial investment (L7): £2,940 (incl VAT), delivered and charged for by MEP
MBA top-up: £3,180 (incl VAT), delivered and charged for by Cardiff Met after you have completed your L7 with MEP.

Total investment (in 2 stages) is £6,120.

Both MEP and Cardiff Met allow for installment plans.

ELCAS ELC’s can be used with both MEP and Cardiff Metropolitan University.

How will you learn/study?

Distance learning via MS Teams Education, with one-to-one tutor support — we do this with you, not against you. You’ll also have access to MEP’s AI Coach for those 3am questions; it enhances support, not replaces the human touch.

Note that your RPL’d units with MEP (units 1, 2 and 7) are the credit value for the Level 7 Diploma in this subject, we want you to go all the way to MBA! – but you already have a diploma in the bag with some small additional tasks.

This is a flexible programme designed for military personnel to fit around existing duties and deployment (12 months to complete the L7 with MEP, plus 7 months for the MBA).

If you are currently a student of the United Kingdom Defence Academy ACSC (R) or ICSC (L) then you are eligible. If you are a graduate of either of these programmes post 2022, then you are also eligible. – You will need to provide documented proof of your attendance or completion.

This is about your career, and the lessons that naturally spill out of your experience. So we’re not going to drown you in theory – it’s practical coaching and mentoring, backed by pre-recorded seminars. All to show you proven methods that work in the real world.

1-2-1 support from tutors experienced in helping translate military experience into ‘civilian’ language.

There’s no exam. It’s all assessed through written assignments and short presentations, with feedback from your tutor via Teams Education.
