Open Programme Enrolment – CTPSA (Level 2)
Individuals can enrol on the SFJ Awards Level 2 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security Awareness (CTPSA) through MEP’s open programmes, delivered throughout the year at a range of venues. These practical one-day courses are ideal for anyone who wants to strengthen their awareness of terrorism threats, protective security and organisational preparedness within their role or workplace.
Our scheduled programmes bring together learners from different sectors and provide clear, practical guidance on recognising suspicious activity, reporting concerns appropriately and responding safely during a terrorism-related incident. The qualification is particularly suitable for:
Courses are scheduled regularly at varying locations, helping individuals across the UK access this accredited qualification. All learning and the online multiple-choice assessment are completed during the day, with no pre-learning, written assignments or post-course assessment activity required.

Regulated training is capped at 16 attendees per tutor (as per awarding body guidance)
MEP charges £210.00 including VAT for this course, which is one day of learning a regulated qualification, taught and assessed by subject matter experts!
MEP charges £210.00 per place where organisations wish to book training for their staff/people. MEP has a minimum booking requirement of 8 places, and a maximum of 16 places taught and assessed per course (day) If an organisation booked 8 places the cost would be £1,680.00 total, no hidden or additional costs. We will also come to you!
*note that international (outside of the UK) courses accommodated may be subject to additional charges.
The course is one day (7 hours) of tutor guided learning and this applies to open courses and courses provided to organisations.
