Expand Your Skills:
Rewrite Your Future

Proudly partnering with:

There’s no denying it. Our education system lets some people down.

It rewards you if you fit the mould – parroting facts and theories. But if you learn through doing… or learn by example… it sets you up to flunk exams and think you’ll never achieve.

It’s madness. We all have our own way of learning. So why doesn’t teaching reflect that?

We do things differently here. Instead of dry lectures and dusty textbooks, we work with our learners closely, to bring each lesson to life. So everything resonates… crystallises…and new skills take root.

With this practical, hands-on approach, we can help anyone reach their potential.

Whatever happened in the past… let’s design your future.

It’s not about background or qualification.
It’s about potential.

Futureproofing for people and teams

As the biggest name in British construction, Balfour Beatty has thousands of people working under pressure. Most on busy sites, where personal safety is paramount.

Keen to protect their workforce and operations, they asked us to train their teams in conflict resolution. So we devised a custom programme, teaching proven ways of avoiding and diffusing tension – all given in context, to reflect the challenges of their work environment.

Training for Business

We worked with the MOD, training future leaders in the military and blue light services. Leadership in Action focused on the challenges of leading in complex, adaptive environments, including field operations.

Through interactive sessions, we explored scenarios where the leader’s role shifts from moment to moment, helping leaders to be confident in their own natural style.

Hereford College runs various courses for students planning a career in Uniformed Public Services. They asked us to deliver a module on Emergency First Aid at Work, giving their students the skills to respond in different situations.

As the client told us, “The service has been excellent. Easy to book, easy to work with, and the quality of the training was brilliant. We had 18 students qualify as first aiders, and they have left the course feeling confident and ready to use those skills wherever they go next. We will definitely be getting MEP back in.”

Newport in South Wales has a rising migrant population, where unemployment levels have been disproportionately high. So the city council asked us to devise a custom programme: a mix of language, education and employability skills, to foster independence and a culture of learning in the community.

In the client’s words, “MEP has shown flexibility, adapting to the changes we require in a cooperative and positive manner. I highly recommend Minerva Elite Performance and feel that they will provide excellent support to other Local Authorities and organisations.”

The Gulab Sorkh Foundation offers training and support to Afghan evacuees. They brought in MEP to deliver English language training, with an emphasis on good citizenship and employment skills – a programme that has made a significant impact, giving many hard-working people the tools to build a new life.

In the words of trustee Richard Haldenby, “The MEP service has been truly first rate and we couldn’t recommend them more”.

William spent 10 years as a teacher before settling on a career change. After completing our Level 7 in Strategic Management & Leadership, he had this to say:

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff at Minerva for your outstanding support throughout my course. I genuinely enjoyed every unit! Each one offered something valuable, and the learning experience as a whole was enriching and rewarding. I look forward to progressing on the Cardiff MBA!”

Training for Individuals

Hard work matters. Just like a can-do attitude and fervent self-belief. But these qualities won’t change your life without the right education.

Knowledge brings skill, then brings wisdom… and opportunity follows.

Our namesake, the Roman Goddess Minerva, embodies this like no other. A symbol of wisdom and knowledge, she’s known for diverse talents, from medicine to commerce, athleticism and music.

Like us, she stands for well-rounded power – the ultimate key to success.

Hence our name. And our pledge to help you rewrite your story.

Knowledge is the only power that can
shape your future
