First Aid Training for Work & Childcare Settings

Custom Training or Regulated Level 3 Qualifications

So when we say “first aid training”, we mean appropriate skills. Giving your team the tools for site-specific challenges, so they’re ready for common injuries and worst case scenarios.

  • For Your Business

We have training packages to suit your type of business. Office work, emergency care, first aid for children or seniors… we’re here to help your on-site team respond to any incident.

  • For Third Sector, Education & Government

Offices, schools, care homes, public buildings, field ops… every space brings its own risks. So your first aiders need a custom mix of skills, to fulfil a duty of care to your staff and the public.

Learning Outcomes

Every first aid programme we run has its own unique focus, drawn from a range of life-saving lessons – including:

  • How to assess and treat an injury, with the tools available
  • When to intervene, and the risk of further harm
  • Calling for help and supporting the emergency services
  • Performing CPR, and when to use a defibrillator
  • Practising the recovery position
  • Treating wounds at the scene
  • Pre-empting further risk, like allergies and fainting
  • Protocols for paediatric injuries and illness
  • Treating anaphylaxis, chest pains, choking and other acute emergencies

Through bespoke or regulated training, we can bring these skills to your workplace – and improve your response to any injury, illness or emergency.

When, Where & How

Each qualification is different, but our regulated first aid courses typically look like this:

  • Delivery: no self-directed learning – all sessions are tutor-led.
  • Materials: interactive demonstrations with handouts for easy reference.
  • Support: one tutor supports up to 12 learners.
  • Assessment: practical and multiple-choice exercises – leading to a Highfields Level 3 qualification.
  • Duration: start and finish dates to be agreed.
  • Course Dates: fill in the form below for dates and availability.

Our bespoke training gives you more flexibility – including location, number of students and the range of injuries we’ll attend to.

“Minerva Elite Performance recently came into Hereford College to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work training to our Uniformed Public Services students. Molly was our main point of contact, and from start to finish, she was absolutely spot on. She was quick to respond to emails and really flexible in helping us get everything sorted.

On the day, she turned up early to get set up and was friendly, professional, and clearly knew her stuff. The students had a lot of respect for her. She answered all their questions, even the more technical ones outside the basic course content.

Overall, the service from MEP has been excellent. Easy to book, easy to work with, and the quality of the training was brilliant. We had 18 students qualify as first aiders, and they have left the course feeling confident and ready to use those skills wherever they go next. The students really enjoyed the session and said it would be great if she could deliver more courses for the next group of Uniformed Protective Services students coming through. We will definitely be getting MEP back in.”
