Enrolling on a Masters is easier than you’d think. This fast-track course takes you straight through Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership, to complete your MBA with Cardiff Metropolitan University.
All through distance learning, so you can study anywhere, any time.
You’ll know when the time is right. It’s that moment when you’ve built up skills and knowledge you can transfer to any role – but the next move doesn’t come, because you’re missing a qualification.
There are so many talented people stuck in this “career jam”. The team leader who knows the business, and should be in the boardroom. The ex-soldier who’s back at square one, proving their worth on Civvy Street.
Their real world experience gives them the practical edge. But they need to marshal their skills… stretch their knowledge… to prove they’re fit and ready.
If you’re in the same quandary, your natural next step is an MBA. And this fast-track programme will get you there, from foundations to final assessment.
“Okay… but do I have what it takes?”
Chances are, you’re more ready for this than you realise. All you need is a few years behind you, in a busy work environment. Whether you got that in a business or charity, public sector, healthcare, the military… it makes no odds.
You’ve got a bank of experience we can draw on, to get you through this programme.
Think about it. You’ve been there on the ground when decisions were taken. You’ve felt their impact – rolled your eyes in despair! And you know what you’d have done differently.
Which means… you’ve seen leadership and management in action.
Whether you took decisions or took instructions – you’ve got first hand knowledge of these principles, from one vantage point or another. And that experience is the route to your MBA.
You Will Learn
Everything you need to know, to step into a senior role or even start your own business. All delivered through practical coaching, where you and your tutor reflect on all those tasks and projects you’ve been part of during your career.
Have you ever…?
Found yourself between a rock and a hard place, with no easy answer?
Carried the can for a bad decision taken by someone else?
Seen an opportunity, and wondered what to do next?
We’ll talk about that in our first module – Strategic Management & Leadership.
Have you ever…?
Been dragged out of your comfort zone, when an old job suddenly changed?
Been the bad guy, forcing others to take on something new?
Found holes in a shaky new process you were forced to adopt?
That’s covered in our next module – Strategic Change Management.
Have you ever…?
Questioned a decision by asking for more evidence?
Dug into a problem, to understand the risk?
Stared at a report and wondered if the facts are genuine?
That will be our starting point when we turn to Research Methods.
Have you ever…?
Missed a deadline, when the unexpected sent your plans off course?
Worked in a team where everyone wanted something different?
Been shut down for voicing concern – then left to handle the chaos?
We’ll be picking through all this in Project Management.
Have you ever…?
Struggled to cope, because you needed more people or skills?
Been caught in the crossfire, when people came to blows?
Clashed with other departments, who have their own agenda?
That’s all ammunition for Strategic Human Resource Management.
Have you ever…?
Asked for money to fund a new project?
Warned against a spending cut?
Soldiered on with a smaller budget?
We’ll discuss the wisdom of these decisions in Financial Principles.
Have you ever…?
Spoken to a customer who feels their needs are ignored?
Wondered how much money is wasted on ads that never work?
Thought of ways to bring in more money, or hold onto customers longer?
That’ll be our inspiration for Strategic Marketing.
You see how that works?
The theory stuff is always delivered through a practical lens. So you get an academic qualification… with no academic waffle!
“Where will an MBA take me?”
A Masters degree can open doors that have always been barred. If you’re in a junior role today, it’s an easy route into management – and if you’re a manager now, it’s one step to a senior role.
And if you run a business… or you’d like to start one… it’s going to give you all the tools to make smart decisions. You can avoid a lot of mistakes and “get to the gold” much faster.
From the foundation stage to your Masters assignment, you can work from anywhere. You’ll have personal tutors and online resources, with the flexibility to set your own pace – it can take as little as 19 months, or up to 31.
