The UK’s finest learning and development experience

Whether you’re boosting your CV or building a better team, we’re here to supply the skills that will shape your future.

That could mean a regulated programme, with formal qualifications. An adapted course, to fit the context of your work environment. Or your own curriculum, custom-made – reflecting all the challenges that only your people face.

Either way, you can expect more than everyday training: a partnership with people who commit to your success.

Our learners agree, we don’t “teach” in the old-fashioned way. We’re more like a coach or mentor, connecting you with new ideas. And our clients agree, we don’t specify one course or another. We talk, we listen, and use your expertise to shape the end result.

The partnership begins as soon as you get in touch.

More than education:
we’re your partners in success

Meeting Your Needs Exactly

Education and training is a collaboration. It starts with a goal or challenge, and becomes a custom response – as you can see from this snapshot of our recent work.

  • Soldiers in camouflage uniforms showing teamwork and leadership during military training and development for frontline services.

    Putting the audience first

The MOD and blue light services needed a proven way to help their future leaders take charge under pressure. So we merged their specific challenges with tested leadership principles, to devise a custom programme – connecting with learners, in ways that generic training can’t.

  • Adult learners from migrant communities taking part in an ESOL and employability training session supported by Newport City Council and Minerva Elite Performance.

    Solving problems together

Newport City Council came to us with a clear objective: to improve life chances in local migrant communities. But “how?” was a complex question. With language and cultural barriers, plus an evolving brief, we worked closely with the council to explore every option – then met the needs of learners with a carefully balanced programme.

  • Serving multiple goals

Balfour Beatty asked for our help with conflict resolution, for staff who work in hazardous spaces or engage with the public. So we looked at their conflict risks, and showed their people how to de-escalate, in a programme that served a dual purpose – safety and productivity.

  • Participants in a bespoke government training and development workshop, with a learner asking a question during a coaching session.

    Filling the training gaps

Some of our partners have their own skilled trainers, but know they can’t do everything. Take Hereford College – they train people for uniformed public services, and needed an extra module on Emergency First Aid at Work. We filled that gap, so their trainers could focus on their own strengths.

And that’s how we work

In complex, uncertain times, we have the course creators and tutors to futureproof your organisation – while meeting every objective.

Skills development. Qualifications. Efficiencies. Timescales. Budget.

And above all, relevance. Connecting with learners by sharing ideas through a relatable lens.

How it all began

With an ex-military founder, we started out as a lifeline for people leaving the armed forces. People with a get-it-done mindset and problem-solving skills, who were cast adrift in a job market that didn’t see their value.

We helped them to harness their leadership traits… to formalise the skills they had, and tap their hidden talents… and get qualified, ready for a fresh start or promotion.

Soon, other people took notice. People from other walks of life, ready for the next step.

Then businesses, charities, public bodies – asking us to give their teams the same leadership skills. (Then teaching skills. Then any skill that would solve a problem!)

Before long, we were the go-to team for any training package. Trusted by corporate giants, educators, local authorities… even the MOD.

Today, we’re true to our roots, helping ex-service people – and many others – to unlock their potential. While working with private clients who see a chance to work smarter… and protect their future… by investing in their people.

Minerva Elite Performance Proudly Partners with The ELY Memorial Fund

We are proud to sponsor The ELY Memorial Fund: a Herefordshire-based charity supporting families through the aftermath of losing a young person aged 17–25 in a road traffic collision.

As an organisation that helps people to rebuild through lifelong learning, we share the values of this hard-working charity. Their full range of services – road safety education, financial assistance and compassionate support – resonates deeply with our values, and this makes them an ideal choice as our charitable partner.

“We’re honoured to support such a meaningful cause,” says Craig Smith, Head of Education & Quality Assurance at MEP. “The ELY Memorial Fund works tirelessly to uplift families during their darkest times, and we look forward to building a strong and impactful partnership.”

Through this collaboration, MEP will be actively involved in awareness campaigns, fundraising efforts and community-focused initiatives, working side by side to create lasting change.
